Opened on 14 June 2003, the Kvikne National Park Centre is located at the venerable farm estate Vollan gård at Kvikne. Vollan gård • Nature • Culture • Rental • Adventures Vollan gård at Kvikne is an old farm estate, with a history dating back to the start of Kvikne Copper Works in 1630. During its golden age, the estate stretched for many kilometres, and has also served as a vicarage down through the years. Parts of the main building date back to 1630, while later additions include, for example, a farm chapel. The foundation Stiftelsen Vollan gård now owns the entire farm estate and museum facilities.
